We caught up with the brilliant and insightful JESSICA JONES a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi JESSICA, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
Optimism hasn’t always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve encountered my fair share of life’s ups and downs. But through it all, I’ve been committed to learning how to remain positive and optimistic. I’ve found that reading books, listening to podcasts, seeking out mentors, and my faith in Jesus Christ all contribute to my optimistic outlook. Many have told me that my optimism is one of my greatest strengths. Every day is a fresh start, and I embrace each new opportunity with enthusiasm. If things don’t go according to plan, I remind myself that tomorrow is another day to try again. Ultimately, I believe that I am responsible for my own life and its direction. By sticking to daily routines that align with my values, I can wake up each morning with a positive outlook and confidently face whatever comes my way.

At Jess Jones Design Group, we are passionate about interior design and committed to making it our life’s purpose. As the Owner and Principal Designer of our boutique firm, we specialize in creating beautiful and functional homes and spaces that align with our clients’ vision. Our design philosophy is to blend old and new elements with organic fabrics, unique furniture, and accessories that showcase our clients’ personality and style. A home should be a sanctuary, a place of tranquility and security that reflects the homeowner’s character, and we work diligently to bring that to life. From concept to completion, we oversee every detail of the design process, ensuring that every step is executed with care and precision. Our turnkey interior design services include everything from luxurious linens and bedding to kitchen accessories, plants, and trees. Our goal is to create a space that our clients will love, cherish, and create wonderful memories for years to come.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Reflecting on my journey as an entrepreneur, I believe that self-development, daily routines and practices, and business coaches are the three most crucial qualities and skills that have contributed to my success.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
We are constantly seeking out talented architects and builders to partner and collaborate with in order to create the best possible design team for our clients. Selecting the right team is crucial in ensuring the success of the project. A team with experience, education, vision, organization, and creativity can produce the most thoughtful and beautiful designs that exceed our client’s expectations!
