Meet Jessica Kircher

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jessica Kircher. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jessica below.

Hi Jessica, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My mother is the hardest worker I’ve ever known, working 3 jobs to stay afloat in this ever-changing economy. I have always admired the way she is able to not only do the work, but put her all into it. I don’t think I would have the work ethic that I do without such an amazing role model in my everyday life.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am blessed with a love for beauty which I have turned into a successful full-time job. Whether I’m doing a full set of lash extensions, a brow lamination, or tattooing a flush of color on the lips, I’m just happy to have so many beautiful souls who trust me and love the results. What a special profession, getting to help the women of St. Louis feel beautiful and confident, not to mention help minimize the amount of time it takes to get ready for the day.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Believing in myself, careful planning, and an urge for independence were the three things that have helped me along the way. If you don’t believe in yourself first, who else will? Along with having the confidence to believe in yourself comes the skill of planning and organization. Create a plan, make a list, figure out all of the steps you need to take to get from point A to point B. Lastly, when starting your own business there needs to be some sort of urge to be independent and run the show. I used to think I was better off working for someone, but as soon as I discovered a need for independence, I was ready to take a risk working for myself.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
Most importantly, my ideal client trusts me! Trust is so important when it comes to beauty services, as well as communication. Client to Pro communication is vital to getting the best result, we must make sure we’re both on the same page. Don’t be afraid to speak up! Some of my best clients are always on time, trust the process, communicate with me, respect my policies, follow proper pre-care/aftercare instructions, and come in ready to relax while having the patience to let me work my magic.
