We were lucky to catch up with Jilliana Raymond recently and have shared our conversation below.
Jilliana, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
For years I’ve learned to allow what I like to call “universal guidance” steer my life. Every time I think I know better than this “universal guidance” I seem to find myself in awkward situations. It’s taken a lot of practice to identify the subtle signals that the universe always provides us with but I’d like to think I’ve mastered the art of detection and defined my listening/feeling skills necessary to embrace the always optimal steerage.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
So many individuals are seeking purpose in their lives. I’d like to think mine is as an “universal educator.” We are all journeymen in a physical environment. Wouldn’t it be exhilarating if we had a little foundation to optimize our living navigation? I’ve had several near misses in life — like a cat with 9 lives — I’ve also been gifted with the ability to peer into our spiritual worlds. To that end — when offered the opportunity — I like to paint a picture of life beyond our physical ones. I have been educating individuals throughout my “awakened” life of the spiritual stewards who watch over us, protect us, guide us and it is a privilege to introduce individuals to this benevolent world. It isn’t a religious one comprised of man made ideations but a spiritual one composed of our innate heritage.
My journey began following the separation of my marriage (a journey of complicating avenues) that began my desire to explore the mechanism of our universe. It’s a journey I’m glad I chose to undertake.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Perseverance!! It hasn’t been an easy life but it is a rewarding one. I’m thriving….mostly because I know I’m guided by loving spiritual allies. I would urge everyone to follow their instincts, their intuitions….discover who they are individually…not what society wanted to mold them into being.
Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
The Top Ten Things Dead People Want You To Know…..This book summarizes in the most elementary way how the universe works. It reminds us how important we are….why not to stress about things we cannot change and provides important keys of wisdom to live by.
