Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Reflecting on my journey, three key qualities have been instrumental in shaping my career: people skills, color theory expertise, and a strong work ethic. With a natural intuition and compassion, I’ve cultivated meaningful connections with clients, fostering trust and exceeding expectations. Mastering color theory has allowed me to expertly match individuals with their most flattering makeup shades, enhancing their features and confidence. Guided by old-school values of integrity, responsibility, and teamwork, my strong work ethic has been the cornerstone of my success, driving me to consistently deliver excellence in every aspect of my work.
For those starting their artistic journey, I advise remaining open-minded to various approaches and techniques. Embrace learning as a continual process, as it’s essential for nurturing creativity and staying relevant in an ever-evolving industry.
