Meet Kaede White

We were lucky to catch up with Kaede White recently and have shared our conversation below.

Kaede, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I feel as if I am still finding my purpose. I know it’s all through music and the arts, but I feel like I have so many talents that I can use to be of service to others, I hold multiple purposes. My purpose as of right now is to share my knowledge and love of music with people, I found this by becoming a music teacher.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am an artist, producer, songwriter, and music teacher. I have been making music since about 2016 but didn’t take it seriously until about 2019. I began to focus and release my music in 2020, during the peak of COVID, and kept going from there. My favorite part about making music is being able to take my present emotions and feelings and translate them into art that I feel like other people can relate to. It’s almost like creating a time capsule and watching someone open it and interpret it in their own way. My most recent music-related venture has been becoming a music teacher. With creating music, sometimes it feels like it takes a while to feel as if you’re making an impact; with teaching, you feel and see I direct impact you’re making on your students and it makes the job so much more enjoyable.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities I have that I feel have helped me through my journey are being well-versed in my craft, being able to connect with people, and staying true to who I am. Being a well-rounded musician and making sure I stay educated in my career while being able to connect with like-minded artists has helped me gain opportunities that I may have not gotten without those traits. When I go to any event to network, I always make sure that I carry myself in a way that shows people that I am knowledgeable about what I do and that I am willing to work to get to where I want to be. By staying true to who I am, I feel like this shows people that I make music for more than gaining fame or recognition. I create my art with the hope that it can reach people who need to hear the message I intend to spread.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Yes, I am always looking for people to collaborate with! I am currently working on a couple of projects, ranging in different genres that could use other great producers and artists on it. Trap artists, R&B singers, even if you’re just starting out producing or songwriting. You can reach me through my Instagram @aw.kaede or send an email with links to any of your projects to kaedebeats333@gmail.com.
