Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to KeAunna Seabrum. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
KeAunna, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
My optimism stems from a combination of factors. Firstly, I attribute it to my innate disposition and personality traits that incline me towards a positive outlook on life. Additionally, my optimism is nurtured by the positive experiences I’ve had, which have instilled in me a belief in my abilities and the potential for favorable outcomes. Supportive relationships and social connections play a crucial role as well, as they provide encouragement and emotional support. I have also developed effective coping strategies that help me navigate challenges and setbacks, reinforcing my optimistic perspective. Lastly, I find inspiration in observing positive role models and the resilience they demonstrate. While my optimism may be influenced by cultural and environmental factors, it ultimately arises from within and reflects my belief in the power of positivity and the potential for growth in every situation.

KeAunna Seabrum lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her daughter Tatiyuna, her Granddaughter London and her Dog Dalia. KeAunna began working in the retail business in 2001 for Five Point Sports in Atlanta, GA. She later moved on to the legal field. In July of 2021, KeAunna decided to follow her dream and created London’s Closet Boutique (named after her Granddaughter London). She decided to take a leap of faith and decided to do what she loved (Fashion). She takes pride and time when selecting pieces for London’s Closet and want every woman to feel beautiful when they enter a room and as her slogan says “Let Your Dress Speak Darling.”
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that had the greatest impact on my journey were resilience, self-awareness, and continuous learning. Developing resilience is essential for navigating challenges. To cultivate it, build a support system, practice self-care, and embrace a growth mindset. Self-awareness is key for personal growth, so engage in introspection, seek feedback, and reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Embrace a mindset of continuous learning and growth by being open to new experiences, seeking knowledge from diverse sources, and setting goals for personal and professional development.
For those starting their journey, be patient and kind to yourself. Seek support from mentors or communities. Embrace failure as a learning opportunity and avoid comparing yourself to others. Stay committed to self-improvement, curiosity, and openness. Remember that progress takes time, and with dedication and perseverance, you can develop these qualities and skills, paving the way for personal and professional growth.
