Meet KEINESHA BROWN

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful KEINESHA BROWN a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

KEINESHA, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I discovered my purpose through my life experiences. I have been through a lot of challenges and they have allowed me to grow and discover who I currently am now. I have always seen myself as a person that loves to help others and that is what my brand is built on majority wise. I am a purpose driven person and it fuels everything that I do in my life. Everything I do and make has a purpose. So, I want my brand to be seen that way.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am a small business owner that specializes in product development and creating items for others. I focus mainly on developing supplements to help everyday people with every day ailments. I am a person that creates based off need and I am the one to test them. I currently have a patent pending migraine cream that helps alleviate the symptoms that comes with having migraines and menstrual cramps. I have developed a supplement that helps with brain fog, depression, constipation, and sinus pressure. It’s still in the data collection stage and is showing great results so far. So hopefully I can have this product patent pending soon and look for getting it in the market for purchasing.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I am a nurse, esthetician and nail technician by trade. So I use what I have learned in those fields to help develop the things I hope to achieve.

My second skill is perseverance. It takes a lot of ups and downs, patience, and formulas to get it just right and it can take months to years to do it.

Lastly, it takes self awareness. I know my limits and what I simply can’t do and I operate in those realms.

My advice is to do what you know you can do and keep learning until you do it well. Never give up on yourself and give yourself some grace. You will need it!

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
I believe my biggest area of growth would be me allowing myself to go through challenges that make me better. Back then, I used to give up all together and not give any effort, but now I take in what the challenges have taught me and I learn from them and keep going. I make sure I acknowledge my mistakes and try to avoid them the next time around. I don’t believe in taking losses, I learn lessons. This life teaches us a lot about ourselves and it’s up to us to learn what we are supposed to in that season and push forward with our purpose In life.
