Meet Kelsey Webb

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kelsey Webb. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kelsey below.

Kelsey, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I’ve known my purpose from early on. As early as I can remember, I’ve been the go-to person for connecting people, ideas, or the perfect item. It’s almost like having a superpower; someone mentions a need, and boom, the ideal solution lands in my mind shortly after. It’s pure magic!

This ‘superpower’ really found its place when I was studying abroad. That’s when it hit me: this natural talent of mine could actually be my career. Connecting people isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am, enhanced by a hefty dose of tech-savvy, no less.

So here I am, marrying intuition with technology and making a living from the magic of connection. It’s not just a job—it’s a calling.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m in the business of shining a light on people’s unique energies, essences, and selves, which is often referred to as marketing in the business world. That’s the foundation of Rayn Social, a full-service marketing agency specializing in social media and, now, podcasting. With over a decade of expertise in social media, I’m thrilled also to explore the world of podcasting. I aim to empower clients to shine and share their unique voices with the world. Additionally, I’ve taken on an exciting new role as a Strategy Marketing Consultant with Rayn Social, where I carefully curate a team of experts for each project. Whether managing a social media campaign, kickstarting a podcast, or building a comprehensive marketing strategy, our team approaches every task with joy and curiosity, striving to bring out the best in what our clients have to offer.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Here are a few insights I believe are invaluable on anyone’s journey:

Focus on Self-Improvement: How you show up for yourself in your personal life reflects how you show up for yourself in business. So, above all, invest in yourself, cultivate your strengths, and address areas for growth. Remember, if you don’t show up for yourself, no one else will.

Embrace the Journey: It’s comforting to remember that we’re all in the process of ‘figuring it out.’ Approach every situation with curiosity rather than comparison. Even those who seem to have everything sorted are navigating their own challenges. And just know, you’re not alone.

Adaptability is Key: Growth is a fundamental aspect of being a business owner. You’ll spend countless hours establishing processes; however, change is inevitable. Staying flexible and ready to adapt or pivot when necessary is crucial for long-term success.

Remember, every step forward, no matter how small, is progress. Stay curious, be adaptable, and, most importantly, be kind to yourself along this journey.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
Let’s be real, marketing can be overwhelming. We are constantly surrounded by an endless stream of stimuli, making prioritizing self-care that much more important. As I progress in my personal and professional life, I’ve discovered that taking moments for myself has become increasingly important. Engaging in daily meditation, taking walks between meetings, or enjoying a hot tea at the end of the day helps me stay present and let the stress melt away.
