Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kendall Williams. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Kendall, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
My optimism and positivity come from years of working on myself, not being afraid to show up as my true self, and from my daughter. I know that if I pursue my dream, it will become a reality and I need to stay positive despite how hard it often is.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I currently own and run 2 businesses, one is marketing, Nexus Creative Co. and one is a clothing business, The Vibrant CEO. I am also starting a nonprofit in honor of my daughter, who was a stillborn, called Amara’s Light. The nonprofit will help others who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss rediscover their light through art, healing, and spirituality.
In 2024 I am looking to focus more on The Vibrant CEO and starting Amara’s Light. The Vibrant CEO helps me with my creativity, while I create new designs and connect with other artists. I love creating something and have so much fun designing and creating products.
Amara’s Light is being developed currently. This brings me such a sense of purpose and healing, especially to support others. We will be hosting events this year including painting, markets, and more!
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in my journey: Learning, Positivity, and willingness to fail.
My advice to others would be to learn as much as you can, and be a sponge. Put yourself in rooms with people who you can learn from, who you look up to, and just listen! Be positive. Entrepreneurship is hard, that’s why not everyone does it. Have a good attitude and stay positive and you will get through it. And be willing to fail. If you don’t fail, you can’t learn. It’s scary at first, but sometimes failing opens a door for something better.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
