Meet Kennedy Oneself

We were lucky to catch up with Kennedy Oneself recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kennedy, thank you so much for opening up with us about some important, but sometimes personal topics. One that really matters to us is overcoming Imposter Syndrome because we’ve seen how so many people are held back in life because of this and so we’d really appreciate hearing about how you overcame Imposter Syndrome.
We will only ever feel like an imposter if we are sharing something that is not our own true gift. It’s common for many of us to want to share something that we find valuable, as soon as we discover it. But it’s very important that the wisdom is coming from our own true experience, and that we are sharing something that we have found value in. Only when we have allowed ourselves to receive the blessing that we wish to share, and let it settle in so deeply that it becomes a part of us, then it naturally radiates outward. Then there’s no such thing as an imposter syndrome, because we are not mimicking anybody.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
My focus is on spreading opportunities for serenity, by encouraging deep presence in meditation, through incredible symphonies of vibration, using ancient and modern musical instruments.

When people feel peace within, their lives will naturally be more harmonious, and their choices will be less destructful. Instead of trying to change the world from the outside, my angle is to encourage wellness from within.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Frugality. From an early age I decided to free myself from a high dependency on cash flow, so that I could follow what brought me joy, and pursue sharing my passions without worrying that I was not getting paid yet.

Never giving up. I have such a passion to share my gifts, that when roadblocks came, I just veered around them.

Authenticity. I do not share anything that is not my own true experience.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
A passion to be of service. Because I am here in the attempt to make the world a little more harmonious, my dedication has not faltered.

I also have a very high value of self-worth, and I know that we all have deeply potent offerings that can improve the quality of life of many people. I’ve always felt a strong impulse to attempt to increase the well-being of others. The strong purpose that I feel in my mission, is what has propelled me forward
