Meet Kennedy Taylor

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kennedy Taylor a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Kennedy, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
Growing up, my mother always pushed me outside of my comfort zone. She was able to see all that God had placed on the inside of me and she wasn’t willing to let me waste it. I’ll be honest, I highly disliked it at the time. However, looking back on it now, it greatly benefited me in the long run. As an adult, I am now able to do things that make me nervous, or are outside of my comfort zone, with confidence and boldness thanks to my mother’s consistency and affirmation all those years!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Faith, dedication, and integrity.

It’s so important to know that the One true God, Jesus Christ, has your life in the palm of His hands. With Him, nothing is impossible! This helped me to push through the rejection, failures, and everything in between.

Being dedicated allowed for me to see the fruit of my labor. Sometimes, when we don’t see results according to our timeline, we give up or grow discouraged. However, remaining dedicated allows for us to give the seeds we’ve planted time to grow and flourish! We can become more dedicated to a thing when we stop letting results be our motivator. Results are awesome and they make us feel good, but it’s bigger than that! There’s so much more to what you’re pursuing than solely what you can gain from it.

Integrity is key! Bigger and better doors open when we operate from a place of selflessness and we’re honest with others. This has been one of the key ways I’ve been able to build long-lasting business relationships. Behind every company, every social media account, is a real person and integrity matters!

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Yes! On the influencer side of things I am looking to collaborate with Christian based brands of any kind! I’ve worked with clothing brands, a candle company, Christian app companies, and more!

For UGC, I am looking to collaborate with any and all brands that are in search of a UGC creator!
