Hi Khairie, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
I always been confident it kind of is in me. It is one of my things I’m proud about to be honest. It is one of the reasons I shoot for the stars and go after what I want. Nobody can tell me about me and if they do, I believe what I feel about me, so nobody can tell me otherwise, I don’t know if it was taught it could of been my mother who instilled in me I don’t know.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m the ceo & creative director of Helmsdale Rugby clothing brand Im also a videographer venturing into film making. I’m producing a documentary that’s going to be finished by the end of the year as well as working on a story line for a new movie that will be released on tubi. This upcoming fall we will be presenting new pieces in Paris fashion week. So overall I’m an artist who loves to express myself through different forms of creativity
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I think that perseverance, patience , and having a never say never attitude are the 3 things that I think will help someone get to the nexts level. I say that to say that helped me because you won’t go anywhere with your brand if you don’t believe in what you do and have confidence in yourself. You also should remember everything doesn’t happen over night
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I would like to collab with seasoned actors when it’s time to work on film in the future and for the brand I’m not too interested in collaborating particularly.
