Kindle, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us today. We’re excited to dive into your story and your work, but first let’s start with a broader topic that might be stopping many of our readers from pursuing their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. How have you managed to persist despite haters and nay-sayers that inevitably follow folks who are doing something unique, special or off the beaten path?
I always remind myself that I am widely successful, and any negativity from outsiders not on my level, should never bother me. Especially if it comes from a emotion of jealousy from said outsiders. I know my heart, my kindness, my compassion, and true intentions, and any type of hate, is pure jealousy. Any one who has gotten to a level of fame, success, or high status deals with this type of negativity, it’s part of the cons you have to take on in this industry.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Hello Readers! I am a professional and published signed model, as well as a freelance promoter in the music industry. I have been published in over eighteen magazines and have worked with over a hundred artists, record labels, venues, and bands. I was signed to Career Images in December of 2023, and have had a great experience with them. My modeling style is very indie, and fresh, and natural. I am truly grateful for all the experiences and opportunities I have been given to boost my career and put my name out there. It means the world to me. I will be walking in New York Fashion Week for RX Runway at Redbull Arena in September, as well as Los Angeles Fashion Week for The Model Experience in October at The Row DTLA.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Being Humble, Dedicated, and Kind. This is a competitive industry; but I am here to meet, network and cheer on my fellow models. My advice to aspiring models is to always stay true to yourself, your goals, and your beliefs.
