Meet Krissy Miller

We were lucky to catch up with Krissy Miller recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Krissy, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My work ethic was instilled in me as youth. Integrity and morals represents your character. Core values plays an extensive role when it comes to ethics. I’ve learned this from grandparents and most recently my mentor and life coach Dana Fikes.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Krissy Miller, once a statistic of society, blossomed like a rose from concrete, overcoming childhood trauma and environmental influences by channeling negative energy into a positive mindset. Motivated by setting an example for her children, she transformed her mindset, becoming a marketing genius and adopting new self-awareness tools to pursue long-term goals. Initially, she started as an assistant to her childhood friend Suave Dugais, who paved her path to journalism at Soul Central Magazine. Today, she stands as the CEO of KandyKane Konsultants and Vice President of Treimage LLC, representing prestigious brands like Sunkist Growers, Sunmaid Raisins, and The Los Angeles Wine Festival. Her clientele includes notable figures such as Amina Buddafly, Jelaminah (a Forbes featured designer), and Soulja Boy. Krissy’s expertise lies in producing A-list events, from the Space Jam 2 Cast Party to Dream Kardashian’s 2023 birthday bash, along with various viewing parties and network activations. She’s renowned for her swift outreach and securing both in-kind and monetary sponsors.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
My most impactful skills I accumulated on my journey are these sayings

If a person doesn’t work a person doesn’t eat, If you don’t stand by your words then your character is worthless, Eat What You Kill, Nothing Beats A Failure but A Try and Give 100% in Anything Your Name Is Attached To.

Anyone in their early journey be consistent, persistent, be patient, grateful and always remain positive, respectful, kind and humble

How would you describe your ideal client?
My ideal client is someone who will allow me to do my job, follow my lead, capable of receiving constructive criticism and the ability of communicating and comprehending. Actually listening and not listening to respond and willing to learn so they can apply the tools that are given to grow. A person is never too young to teach and never too old to learn.
