Hi Kylan, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
I found my confidence and self esteem just by growing up a little. Throughout the years I’ve found my own sense of style and confidence through social media and fashion, and I think I’ve just now really found a place in my life where I’m so confident, not only in myself but also in my career.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m a content creator that’s focused on lifestyle content and fashion. I’ve been doing this since 2020, and I’ve only just begun on my career. Since I’ve started, I’ve accomplished so many achievements like building relationships with brands, successful partnerships and tons more.
My main focus is to promote organic and real lifestyle content to my audience to show my life and share my accomplishments. I’m so grateful for everything that’s been gifted to me in this industry and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three things I’ve learned in this industry is patience, vulnerability, and confidence. These three characteristics are key to be successful in the social media industry. One thing I remember always being told is “you can’t be afraid to look stupid in front of the camera to be successful”. This has helped me overcome my fear of embarrassment and being in public because to truly go far in this business, you have to have that camera out lol.
To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
My parents have always been my biggest supporters. They have supported me in ways that I couldn’t be more thankful for. Even though they don’t fully understand what I do for a living, they still have my back.
