We recently connected with Kyliah Baird and have shared our conversation below.
Kyliah, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
The power of believing in yourself to make your dreams become your reality is not an easy task, yet it is attainable. I have always thought positively and tend to see the glass half-full, yet I keep a realistic perspective. It has been instilled in me to walk by faith and not by sight. I believe that when you have a vision of what your success can look like, with discipline and perseverance you can always find yourself in a winner position.

I’m excited to share with you all my fashion brand, Bella Bee-Tique. It is an online luxury clothing boutique, with exclusive pieces. I am currently working to put my brand in front of my audience. I understand the need of exclusive looks when it comes to presenting yourself in a Bold, Sassy, yet Classy way. As I have relocated to the DFW area, I am in the process to grow as a fashion stylist as I continue to make sure Bella Bee-Tique grows to the trajectory I know it can reach!
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The ability to connect with your customers or clients is a great skill set to have when looking to truly establish your business. Most consumers appreciate a pleasant experience when they choose your brand/business to work with. If someone has pleasant experience working with you they will return for services and will happily share their experience with others. As a business owner, there is no greater feeling than that!
Having a pleasant personality also helps while you go on this journey. People are attracted to boldness, kindness, and authentic individuals. Just by taking the time to build a rapport with your audience, they get to see your mission and why you go so hard for your passion.
I would advise for those that are in the beginning phase of their journey to allow themselves grace. No one has it all figured out no matter how well you strategize. There will also be a lesson to learn on the journey. Always remember you “why”. If you can always stay true to your goals, everything else will fall into place. Just remember to put your brand out there, because no one knows you exist, until the can see that you exist.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I absolutely am looking for partners or others to collaborate with. I have some creative ideas and I know I can work with others in the beauty and fashion industry. The way we can collaborate with our aesthetics can be iconic. Bringing in others can really expand the creativity behind our brands. I truly appreciate working with artists and helping them bring their visions to life too. I am also interested in working with photographers as a stylist. I love curating looks for a themed shoot or even a brand photo shoot. I’m ready to work!
