We were lucky to catch up with Lindsay Leigh recently and have shared our conversation below.
Lindsay, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
This is the number one question I get from clients. They are deeply intentional and constantly searching for their highest aligned purpose. It feels fitting to share how I came to mine in the hopes it inspires you as you navigate your journey.
The journey to finding my purpose was long, exhausting, and made me want to scream at times from the frustration. I have a background in a variety of areas. I’ve never been the person who wanted to do one thing in their life – I wanted to try new things and soak in all of the experiences. Over time I felt like if I tried enough things, my purpose would eventually reveal itself. And yet, it continued to feel so elusive.
After years of deep inner work and profound life experiences, I learned that our life purpose is often not as clear-cut as we would like it to be. Putting ourselves in boxes with clear answers is something we enjoy because we can count on it. We can control it. But life is an experience in letting go and evolving with the journey of it all.
When I finally learned to let go, I realized that my purpose was ever unfolding. It’s tangible and also ethereal. And I stopped putting a label on it. I let myself unfold each layer that gave me clues and inspiration toward my larger purpose here in this lifetime.
What I eventually realized is that I am already in my purpose. When we take aligned actions towards what brings us joy and freedom, we are in our purpose. It doesn’t have to fit in a box where you color inside the lines. It can be as expansive and label-less as I want it to be because when I take aligned action towards what’s in my highest alignment, I am always on my path of purpose.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am an ICF Certified Coach, Advanced Intuitive Reader, BQH Hypnosis Practitioner, and Source Energy Practitioner.
My journey from a terrified child with gifts I did not understand to becoming an empowered adult after navigating an intense spiritual awakening in 2017, led me on a journey where I worked and learned from master teachers and mentors including shamans, psychic mediums, channelers, and Akashic Records teachers.
As I learned more about my gifts, I realized I still had SO much inner work to do and so much shadow work to integrate after a lifetime of repeating unhelpful patterns and programs denying my true, authentic self. I realized how deeply integral doing inner work contributed to my life and my abilities as a psychic, channel, and teacher.
Now I offer several powerful methods of custom coaching packages, courses, and regression hypnosis that also integrate energy work + intuition. It has created life-changing results for my clients.
This work has shown time and time again to release their limitations while alchemizing their ability to step into the life and business of their wildest dreams.
I am passionate about helping my clients find a path to activate their highest potential while honoring their deep innate wisdom.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three areas that were most impactful in my journey included first and foremost, mentors. At the beginning of my spiritual awakening, I felt so lost. I didn’t even know where I should start as I navigated this new way of experiencing the world. Mentors helped guide, challenge, and support me through all of my ups and downs. I had a safe container where I trusted my mentor to guide me toward my highest alignment. I learned more about myself and gained tools, wisdom, and insight into how I can choose to explore this journey with greater awareness and abundance. I simply could not have gone as far in my personal development work without the support of mentors.
Additionally, taking accountability for your goals and the life you want plays a key role. It’s easy for us to say we want to make a change or we want to learn something new, but we don’t always own that aspect of ourselves. It’s more common these days to say you want something and never follow through with it than it is to actually take personal accountability and take the actions needed to go where you want to do in life.
Third, doing “the work”. This means taking the time to navigate my inner world through shadow work. This is where meditation and journal work played a key role in my life. I used these tools (and a few others) to create awareness of unhelpful patterns and programs that were stuck on repeat in my subconscious. I used these tools to release unhelpful programs and patterns that were simply holding me back from stepping into my empowerment. It freed up space in my subconscious so I could finally end the old cycles and patterns and call in more aligned and abundant manifestations.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I would love to continue my work in the spiritual space in collaboration with like-minded souls. I come from a corporate background and yet, am deeply connected to the spiritual world. I would love to collaborate with those who find themselves in similar spaces and are looking to support others’ healing as well as heal the corporate space through workshops, speaking engagements, retreats, and so on.
