Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Lindsey Kaszuba. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Lindsey, we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?
Self-care for me is like keeping my batteries charged; it’s non-negotiable. I start every day by moving my body and quieting my mind through meditation – it’s like hitting the reset button each morning. My skincare routine? That’s my ‘me-time’ – a moment to pamper myself. I have a quick morning routine and a more relaxing nighttime routine. I’m also big on eating foods that not only taste good but make me feel energized and ready to take on my day, and as a working mom of three I need all the energy I can get.
And I can’t forget my love for learning – whether it’s a podcast while I’m on the go or a good book at night, it’s food for my brain. Speaking of nighttime, my legs-up-the-wall routine is the perfect way to wind down. And when things get a bit hectic, a few deep breaths work wonders to bring me back to center. Most importantly, I’ve learned to listen to what my body needs – it’s like having an inner compass guiding me. All these practices together keep me at my best, and when I’m at my best, I find I can do my work and live my life with more energy and focus. It’s a game-changer.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
From my own experience and years of trial and error in health and wellness, I’ve seen how diet culture leaves us feeling defeated, overwhelmed, and confused. After all, many of us have been left staring at the Google search results for “how do I get healthy fast” thinking which of these will work for ME?!
The turning point for me was realizing that health is much more nuanced than the one-size-fits-all approach often suggested by mainstream diets and health trends.
As a Certified Health & Habit Consultant, I focus on breaking down these norms and guiding busy women toward understanding that health can be simple, enjoyable, and highly personal. My mission is to help people move away from restrictive diets and rules, and instead, create a simple path to wellness.
I’ve developed a unique framework for SIMPLE health. This framework is centered around the idea of ditching generalized health norms and creating personalized habits that are sustainable and effective. The goal is to help women build a lifestyle that leads to feeling energized and confident in their own skin. A sort of “coming home to yourself”.
The most exciting thing about this work is witnessing the transformative journey of my clients. It’s incredibly rewarding to see someone move from a state of frustration and confusion about health to a place where they feel empowered and in control of their well-being. There’s a moment when it all ‘clicks’ for them, and they realize that health doesn’t have to be a constant struggle – that’s the moment I work for.
My brand is all about authenticity, personalization, and simplicity. I believe in listening to your body and honoring its needs. This approach resonates with so many who have felt trapped by strict diets and rigid fitness routines. I emphasize that health isn’t just about what you eat or how much you exercise, but about finding simplicity and balance in your daily life.
If you take anything away from this article, let it be this: To anyone feeling lost in the sea of health advice, know that there is a simpler, more empowering way to achieve your health goals. It’s about making small, sustainable shifts that add up to significant results. And most importantly, it’s about creating a health journey that is uniquely yours.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Reflecting on my journey, three qualities stand out as pivotal to my success: courage, confidence, and consistency.
Courage was the initial spark. It took courage to step outside the familiar, challenge the status quo of health norms, and embark on a path less traveled. This courage also meant embracing failure as a stepping stone rather than a setback.
Confidence grew from this courage. With each small success and every hurdle overcome, my confidence in my approach and in sharing my message has strengthened and continues to strengthen. It wasn’t just about believing in myself, but also in the validity and importance of my work.
Consistency has been the backbone of my progress. It’s one thing to have a groundbreaking idea or a moment of bravery, but it’s the consistent, day-in, day-out work that turns dreams into realities. Whether it’s refining my methods, engaging with clients, or staying on top of new health trends, consistency has been key.
For those early in their journey, my advice is to cultivate these qualities actively. Start by taking small steps outside your comfort zone. This could mean speaking up about your ideas, trying a new approach, or simply committing to your goals. As you do, your confidence will naturally build. Remember, confidence is a muscle that gets stronger with use. Finally, embrace consistency not just in your actions, but in your mindset. Understand that lasting change and success are a marathon, not a sprint. Regularly reflect on your progress, stay true to your vision, and remember that small sustainable steps can lead to significant leaps over time.
Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
I would travel the world, squeeze my family extra tight every day, and keep trying to impact as many people as I can to feel their best. I think when we each feel our best, the entire collective improves. Oh, and I would let things roll off my shoulders a little more 😉
