Meet Lisa Rozzini Clay

We recently connected with Lisa Rozzini Clay and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Lisa , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
1994…. When I was 19, I was driving my friends car with four of my girlfriends from a party in Bellevue across the bridge to meet my other friends boyfriend in Seattle. Shortly after getting to Seattle, we were headed to a pay phone that received incoming calls because pagers were most popular at the time. We thought her boyfriend drove by so we did a Uturn to go back the other way. We then noticed a car speeding up to us. I turn off the road and the car turned behind us. They shot one bullet through the back window hitting my best friend that sat behind me. Had she not turned her head the bullet most likely would have hit me. We al got down, I ran up on the curb turned to go back down to the Main Street the other car went straight basically disappearing into the dark. After I turned down we all started sitting back up and my friend in the back seat cried out that my best friend had been shot (she was slumped over)
After speeding to a friends moms house, all of us girls screaming in shock and chaos, the police found us. They took us away from the car but I turned back to see them taking my friends limp body out of the backseat. At the police station while getting our statements they had me call my mom and that was the first time they told us she died on the way to the hospital
This completely tore my life apart. I was young and spent 3 years in a zombie state. Working nights and contemplating walking right off the edge, I was suffering from what I now know was Survivors guilt They never caught who murdered my friend so I also was the obvious choice to subconsciously blame having been the one driving when she was killed. It devastated everyone.

Fast forward three years,my good friend introduced me to the world of energetic healing. Quickly, I became a sponge for anything related to the “metaphysical” world. My neighbor had taken me to a shop in our neighborhood when I was 17 that sold books on the topic and other stuff related. I found my way back there and ended up meeting the owner who quickly became my mentor and then like a Mom to me (my soul mama)
I slowly pieced myself and my life back together, went to beauty school and continued to visit the regularly for healing and inner strength. Some days I would sit in the little book area and cry, I always felt safe to do that there.

Fast forward 10 years, I had gone back to school to get my AA and started getting certified in many of the energy healing modalities that I believed saved my life. I continued in school towards my BA and getting several certifications throughout the years, met my husband, had three babies, graduated Summa Cum Laude and a year later….. Covid loomed in

My hair business was forced to shut down… I was oddly not worried, I actually enjoyed the time off with my family. My husband was able to work remotely and we had all three kids spread out for homeschooling. During this time the little healing shop was struggling, here was not much inventory and my Souk Mama was in her mid seventies, tired and ready to close up shop after 36 years. My husband and I came into help get the shop online to sell what was left but Spirit had a greater plan. All of these divine resources and blessings lead to us keeping her (the shop) open. Mama T asked us to keep the shop open. she would give us one year of her guidance and to introduce us to vendors etc. It was an absolute chaotic whirlwind of a year and about 8 months in Mama T fell ill. She continued to decline until she heartbreakingly passed in Feb 2024. She had rewritten her will, leaving us the little shop in an inheritance.
Shortly after, the property got quietly sold and plans to tear it down leaked. With building developing already shaking the ground around us. We made the decision to move the shop when we found a space close by that was available. The move was worse than when my best friend was killed…. It was absolutely terrifying, I feared the worst, I feared failure, I feared the new space, I feared the community bailing on us. I lost weight, I didn’t sleep, I experienced high anxiety. I re~grieved Tess’s dying plus the “death” of the little shop that saved my life when I was 19. I was mentally and emotionally exhausted

Oddly, I would go outside and talk out loud to God. In those talks I realized I hated God for taking my friend 30 years ago. I ended up forgiving God, building trust, faith and again began healing. I have embraced our new space. I still have moments that I am like wth are we doing but I’ve learned to embrace the uncertainty and trust spirit. We now hold classes and workshops for the community to come and receive education and healing in a safe space. I am grateful. I can honestly look back at last year, knowing it almost killed me (literally) and be grateful because I know now I had to go through that to learn real resiliency and strength to continue the mission of holding a safe space for people to feel better in this absolutely crazy time. She saved me and now I get to be a part of Stargazers saving others.

My path to resiliency is a long story I know. Thank you for the time you spent reading it. I left out as much as I could to shorten it but it’s all relevant. Apologies for any typos, I’m not proof reading it… just gonna push send 🤍

Much gratitude
Lisa

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I told my personal story…. My professional story is that I believe it is my life purpose to continue to create and hold a safe space for all ages, all stages, all genders, all ethnicities and all humans to feel inclusive, feel welcomed feel like they can be open to their own individual path to education and healing. We also make our own line of essential oil energy clearing sprays, bath salt blends, incense blends and intention candles. They are all handcrafted in our alchemy room and all imbued with Reiki energy. We host Spring/Fall Equinox Faires and Summer/Winter Solstice Faires where the community can come enjoying mini sessions from all our practitioners and readers as well as mini sound baths in our classroom.

We offer classes/workshops, uplifting ceremonies and have many tools and gifts available in our retail area.
I am also focused on my personal life coaching/healing business with in the shop. I am committed to providing an even deeper level of healing facilitating for those that are on that trauma healing path. I pride myself on working responsibly, ethically and with integrity when guiding clients through energy work.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I am a huge advocate for educating. We actually provide scholarships for our staff to get Reiki certified. We have many guest teachers and sound bath healers that rent out our classroom space and also open their class to the community. I believe in networking so that clients and customers have access to a wide variety of healing and education not only in Stargazers but outside as well.
I am also a certified Life Coach in manifesting which is an amazing process of guiding people on the path to their purpose in life.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Absolutely, collaboration is so essential in making sure we provide the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills from all cultures. As long as it is in high vibration, I will always desire collaborating with others that desire the same as me. To provide a safe space for people to not only feel better but create a personal tool kit they can keep with them and add to on their journey.
