Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Liza Rivera. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Liza, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I have been able to encounter my purpose along my life’s journey in serving others. With each step, I’ve uncovered a profound passion for enriching lives, a passion that has remained constant across every role I’ve undertaken. It’s in the smiles I’ve witnessed, the hurdles I’ve helped overcome, and the positive change I’ve been able to ignite that I’ve found my true calling.
This journey has gifted me with an unwavering sense of satisfaction. Every interaction, every endeavor becomes an opportunity to embody the values I hold dear. I’ve come to realize that my existence is intrinsically linked to this mission — to spread empathy, kindness, and positive impact in all that I do. As I move forward, I carry this purpose like a torch, illuminating the path not only for myself but for all those whose lives I touch.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am currently the pioneer and leader of The Good Home Team’s Latino division, an initiative that surfaced as a mission to extend the already unwavering commitment of excellence The Good Home Team has been providing in North Texas. The goal is to grow a group of skilled professional bilingual Realtors that will advocate and serve the Hispanic community in every real estate transaction. By educating and empowering Hispanic families, we can enrich more lives!
This journey has not just been about properties, but about people, about crafting opportunities for the Hispanic community to flourish in the real estate realm. Whether it’s selling, investing, or purchasing, we stand behind a mission to provide an unparalleled level of excellence, tailored to the unique needs of the Hispanic community.
Just as I’ve thrived in my consulting work with minority owned businesses since 2021, I’m committed to ensuring that the values of empowerment, growth, and service resonate in every sale, investment or purchase in real estate. The Good Home Team Latino division is not just a business endeavor, but a manifestation of my dedication to enriching lives and fostering positive change within a community that deserves the very best.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Within my journey I have learned that 3 very important skills are communication skills, adaptability skills and teamwork.
Having communication skills is a very important skill as being able to communicate with peers, clients and leaders effectively is necessary in order to build and foster relationships and achieve goals.
Having the skill to adapt will also get you far in the journey as the business world is constantly evolving and being open to change and adapting is of the essence in order to be successful.
Lastly, being able to collaborate with others is a key skill. In the business world you don’t get anywhere without engaging and networking with others. Teamwork allows you to embrace others’ ideas and reach goals collectively.
These skills are developed intentionally and consistently. Surrounding yourself with brighter minds than your own and listening to the stories of others that have reached their goals is helpful. The most important advice I can give is to remain coachable and never think that you know everything.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Absolutely! I am always looking to collaborate with like-minded individuals who want to educate and empower the Hispanic community in any way possible. Contact me on my site realestatebyliza.com and let’s connect!
