Lori Rayne, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
Like everyone else, there comes a point in our lives where we need to discover our unique identity. For me, building a healthy sense of self-esteem involved having patience with myself and developing a clear understanding of my aspirations. Though I must admit, there are instances where I falter, but ultimately, I’m content with being myself, and the idea of altering my true self to become someone else is not an option.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am Lori Rayne, a female country singer-songwriter presently based in Nashville, TN. As an artist, one of my greatest joys is connecting with audiences through my music. My approach to songwriting is rooted in storytelling; whether it’s a lively party anthem or a poignant ballad, my aim is always to convey my emotions and experiences in a way that resonates with listeners. I believe that my music has the power to inspire others to reflect on their own feelings and experiences, and that’s what motivates me to continue writing and performing.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
In my experience as a songwriter, I’ve learned three crucial aspects: trusting my individuality, relying on my instincts, and accepting assistance when necessary. Although it’s beneficial to hear other artists’ perspectives and ideas, it’s equally important to have faith in your unique creative vision. Trusting your instincts can lead to fulfilling outcomes, and seeking help from those who understand your journey can be a valuable resource.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
As a songwriter, I value collaboration as a means of expanding my creative horizons. While I find the process of writing alone fulfilling, it’s essential to incorporate fresh ideas to keep my work dynamic and innovative. I gravitate towards co-writers who possess an unconventional approach and enjoy exploring new boundaries. I welcome anyone interested in collaborating to reach out to me through social media.
