Meet Mac Streetz

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Mac Streetz . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Mac below.

Mac , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
I would have to say it comes from my mother. She had me very very young n I watch here climb to heights you couldn’t believe against all odds. No matter what life threw at her or how many times it would knock her down . She would get back up n go harder there was no such thing as give up .. I like to think watching that my whole life I learned the skill myself

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I was originally born in Sherman Texas , but I moved to Minnesota early in childhood. I have been doing music since I was about 12 years old it has always been my dream . Last year I would finally release a song that would that make me go viral on TikTok 174k followers n record deal with mako music group . I’ve spent the last year on tour n have released a album called “ smile through it all “ that would reach top 40 on the iTunes chart . A big reason for my so called success I credit to my grandma. She was murdered a few years back, and that’s when I became to take my career very seriously.. everything thing I’ve done n accomplished has been in here name

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Consistency, self -esteem , hard work My advice for anyone trying to do what I do .. is to be ready for long n hard ride. With music you are always one song away from changing your entire. But make sure you in it for the right reason. Cause if your not you can’t end wasting a lot of your time , and that’s the one thing we can never get back .. music is not for the weak hearted

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
48 laws or power has helped me the most with not just my job but my life .. it’s a book n how to understand people n their actions . With out emotions .laws like 1.)Never outshine the master
2.)Be formless
Your reputation means everything, guard it 3.)with your life
