We were lucky to catch up with Maranda Morgan recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Maranda with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
My mom raised me very well! She taught my from a young age that you have to put the work in to be successful in life. I’ve always applied that to everything I do.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am a creative! But one of my main brands is my print and digital magazine. The name of my magazine is PINK GANG Magazine. It’s geared towards music, fashion and photography. I feel like for my magazine and my photography I bring out the best in people.
My most recent print issue was from the fall with the legendary artist Melisa Morgan. She really shared a great story and gave some good advice to upcoming female artist.
Also I just hosted 2 powershoots with Robinest Photography Studio. Which were both a success. Make sure you all check out the photos at @photosby.maranda on instagram.
There’s also a movie premiering soon in which I am credited as the casting director and production assistant. Pretty dope. This was my first time casting a movie and helping with production. Movie premiere will be in July. “The Selector” produced by Reuben Shaw.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Being a harder worker Never giving up
Being consistent
To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
The most impactful thing my parents did for me was simply believe in me and always held me down through everything. Love y’all!
