Meet Marie Fiorin

We were lucky to catch up with Marie Fiorin recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Marie, thank you so much for opening up with us about some important, but sometimes personal topics. One that really matters to us is overcoming Imposter Syndrome because we’ve seen how so many people are held back in life because of this and so we’d really appreciate hearing about how you overcame Imposter Syndrome.
I’m still working on it! Anytime I feel that the imposter syndrome is creeping its head back up, it’s usually when I have an impulse to be better and do better – when I have that knowing that I’m meant for something greater. Through time I came to realize that imposter syndrome is just fear to succeed. And as long as I keep working on myself, and working on my body, and that I keep in check with my spiritual practice, the better I overcome imposter syndrome. It’s making progress day after day or week after week, going through the steps needed to move myself closer to who I want to be and the life I want to live, feeling that I’m doing something – that’s what helps me feel like I belong and deserve my spot in the sun. Everyone has a story that deserves to be shared, everyone deserves to love and be loved, and everyone deserves to be happy and feel successful and worthy. It’s totally normal to feel scared about it, but we all belong.

Following “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz has also been a game changer for me: don’t make assumptions, don’t take it personally, be impeccable with your words, and always do your best. That truly helps me keep in check and out of my head, while giving me that knowing that I’m on track, that I’m not imposting, and that I’m doing what needs to be done. Following through on what I tell myself I “should” do and actually doing the things that the person I want to be would do, is really what keeps the imposter syndrome at bay.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I started my career as a fashion stylist in Milan, Italy and then hosted and produced shows for Fashion TV, Radio Monaco, Europe 1 and Made of Music. I then went back to the luxury market where I’ve worked extensively in the fine jewelry industry.

Yet since a very young age, I was always drawn to the metaphysical. I quickly realized that I had the power to manifest my desires into reality and that my thoughts would become real – so I decided to dig deeper and became a certified Law of Attraction coach. With this sense of purpose, I used my background in fashion and design to create a series of beautifully designed journals, planners, and coloring books, that are not only practical but also aesthetically pleasing. I truly poured my heart and soul into creating a transformative tool that would guide people on their own journey of self-discovery and personal growth, and help them manifest their dreams into reality.

Each book has been specifically designed to help people focus on their goals, dreams, and desires, and to take inspired action. The journals are filled with prompts and exercises so you can cultivate a positive mindset and attract abundance into your life. There’s been plenty of times in my life where I felt like I was cast in the wrong movie and not playing the part I actually wanted to play. My journals and coloring books are my contribution to helping myself and others to recast the movie, fire the director and finally live life on our own terms.

A new exciting launch has been our latest coloring book “Manifest Jewelry in 50 Pages” that takes you on a journey of discovery – discovery where you can learn about the designers, the stones, the jewelry making process, and how you can use jewelry to manifest your dreams, and of course how you can manifest more of your favorite jewelry pieces.

To me jewelry is more than just a combination of metal and gemstones. It embodies the unique vibrations of each stone and crystal it holds. And here’s the fascinating part: when your personal vibration aligns with the stone’s energy, something magical happens. Your vibrations harmonize, unleashing boundless potential for manifestation. It’s a remarkable dance between your energy and the stone’s essence, and as you embrace the power of jewelry, you embark on a journey where your vibration rises, expanding the infinite possibilities that lie within you – and you manifest 🙂

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back on my journey, three qualities that played a pivotal role were consistency (or lack thereof), the ability to figure things out, and a commitment to spreading the word about what I do.

It’s not always about making huge strides every day, but rather the small, steady steps that accumulate over time. Consistency builds discipline and reliability, essential attributes for achieving long-term goals. My advice to those starting their journey is to set realistic, achievable goals and commit to them consistently. Put your head down, stay focused, and celebrate the small wins, as they contribute significantly to the bigger picture, and keep going. I wish I had been more consistent throughout my career, and it’s definitely the number one thing I focus on right now.

Then you need to be able to figure it out – and that I’m good at! When faced with challenges or faced with the unknown, your ability to figure things out is a game-changer. Back when I was styling in Milan, we were on set shooting for a campaign and as I was walking with the model to set up her up in her position, the dress fell apart. And it was bad. It wasn’t just a little zipper that you can fix on the spot. The beading of the dress decided to give up on life, and the dress started to profusely bleed tiny little beads, to the point where we couldn’t move without slipping on a sea of beads. We got the model out of the dress, swept everything away and I quickly took a skirt we liked the fabric of and made it into a dress. The photograph turned out beautifully, clients were ecstatic and I got hired for their next campaign. Magic can happen in moments of sheer disasters, and you gotta keep going – life doesn’t stop.
In today’s dynamic world, things don’t always go as planned, and the capacity to adapt and problem-solve is crucial. For those at the beginning of their journey, my suggestion is to cultivate a growth mindset. Embrace challenges as opportunities to learn and develop problem-solving skills. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, as that’s where real growth happens. And just find a way, there’s always a way!

And finally, I’d say that spreading the word about your work is vital for visibility and success. You can have the best product in the world or offer the best service ever, if no-one knows about it, it won’t leads you anywhere. It’s not just about self-promotion but about sharing the value you bring to the table. Networking, building relationships, and effective communication are key. Remember, your network is your net worth, so don’t burn bridges, cultivate your relationships. To those embarking on their journey, I recommend honing your communication skills and developing a strong personal brand. Identify your unique strengths and learn to articulate them effectively. Utilize various platforms, both online and offline, to showcase your expertise and connect with your tribe. Stay resilient, and enjoy the growth that comes with each step forward!

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
“The Biology of Belief” by Dr Bruce Lipton is a book that truly plays an important role in how I approach life. We’re having a biological experience – and not only how we feel is a direct response to what’s happening inside our bodies, we also have the direct ability to shift our body’s response by adjusting our thoughts and our environment. The book explores the profound influence of belief on our biology, introducing the concept of epigenetics, and emphasizing the interconnectedness of the mind and body. For anyone who’s interested in better understanding their mind-body connection, this book is a true game changer!
