Hi Massiel, so happy to have you on the platform with us today and excited to chat about your lessons and insights. Our ability to make good decisions can massively impact our lives, careers and relationships and so it would be very helpful to hear about how you built your decision-making skills.
Whenever I hear the word “No”, I have learnt that it simply means that this one option is not the way . However there is always a way. you just gotta think outside the box!

I have infused my passion for beauty into everything. I personalized makeup experiences, by fostering genuine connections with each client, from dazzling runway looks at Miami Fashion Week to unforgettable wedding days across the globe. Trading my corporate career for my artistic calling after my third child, I now am delighted in making my clients feel fabulous while leading a top-notch team of stylists. Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in my journey are for one , my ability to listen. Listening and not just hearing people, but actually actively listening is a basic communication skill that has allowed me to grow in all areas of my life.
Problem solving is a trait that has develop from actively listening. By actively listening , I have been able to provide solutions to so many beauty inquires from lashes to brows and everything in between.
I am also a quick thinker. I aim to provide quality work in a timely manner. No one likes to waste time. Time is money and the sooner you can think on your feet during intense moments, the quicker you are to act on a solution.
Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
Come to America! Through my mother’s courage and hardwork, as an immigrant family we learned how staying consistent pays off. Thankful to my Momma for all her sacrifices that shaped me into the entrepreneur I am today.
