Meet Michael Duggar

We recently connected with Michael Duggar and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
We just know the harder we work right now, the farther we will go. We would rather work 16 hour days now so in a few years when our restaurant has expanded, we know it was all worth it

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I along with my partner, own a hot dog cart in downtown Bastrop, TX. You can choose from a variety of toppings or just keep it basic with ketchup and mustard. We also work at a lot of festivals in and around the Bastrop area. Our next big festival will be a Springfest in Bastrop on April 20th.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I think the fact we were knew we had something special when we opened the cart up. We found almost immediately success when we first opened downtown. The town really made us feel like we were welcomed. I think that if you work hard and stay focused, things will start to fall in place for you

How would you describe your ideal client?
The is no ideal client for us. As long as you are hungry, we want you to enjoy our dogs
