Meet Michael Litten

We were lucky to catch up with Michael Litten recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
My family in combination with a lifelong career in sales, management, motivation, and life coaching. I was blessed to participate in some of the finest, cutting edge, high caliber motivation training programs ever developed. Having a positive optimistic outlook was baked into and a common denominator with all the programs.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Ride The Vibe is a podcast produced in the comfortable http://drsatl.com studio, located in Roswell, GA. I host the show as, “The Last DJ” https://www.facebook.com/MichaelDLitten. My friend Wahid Gomes, executive producer/owner of the studio, is the man that makes all the magic happen. There wouldn’t be a Ride The Vibe without Wahid’s creative brilliance.

The show features an “old school” listening party format which means we encourage the listeners to sit back with a glass of their favorite beverage in the intimacy of an environment of their choosing, even if it is on a float in the water, while we play a sample of 5-6 of the guest’s songs and then chat with them about all things music, think digital liner notes. The show features a wide range of local, national and international artists.

In the studio we enjoy www.catheaddisillery.com and www.drinkmate.us beverages.

We ask listeners get into the vibe because it’s a coooool way for getting the creative juices flowing. And, we bid them cheers to a grooooovy day and suggest they remember to always Ride The Vibe.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
In my first job out of college I was blessed to work for the amazing Foster G. McGaw, a noted philanthropist. He taught me the lesson of giving more than you get and leaving more than you take. Later teachings helped me combine that philosophy with doing well by doing good. These are mantra’s I repeat at least once a day. I have added the practice of yoga, meditation, self reflection, and a focus on disconnecting from all devices, except music, of course, hahaha, to further enhance my spiritual journey to self enlightenment.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Ride The Vibe’s mission is to help musicians promote their original music. So, reach out to me at 770-552-0418 (landline, please leave a message) or email me at [email protected] and let’s chat about featuring your music on the vibe. “NO MUSIC, NO LIFE.”
