Mike , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
Practice and repetition! Anything you do in life takes multiple reps and practice to become great. Each repetition of anything you are attacking will eventually start to show progression which will then lead to confidence and build your self-esteem. That goes for business, sports, parenting, the gym, etc… A quote I use frequently in my household with my children is “Practice makes better”. I truly believe if you practice something long enough consistently your confidence and self-esteem will be through the rough in a positive way.

Mike Howard is an Entrepreneur, speaker, and family man. Mike is the founder and CEO of Guaranteed C.S. Inc and Jetsetter Charter Jet Service. With 10+ years of sales and leadership background, Mike’s true passion is creating opportunities for others. Aside from scaling both companies to 7 figures in less than 2 years, Mike has helped 50+ individuals get started on their Entrepreneurial Journey.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Communication, trust, and integrity. Without those three skills you will not make it in sales let alone running an entire company that is dependent on you. If you can stand firm to you core values and these three skills then you will be unstoppable.
To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
Lead by example. The more I look back on my childhood before running companies and jumping into entrepreneurship my parents have always set a great example for my brother and I to follow. Even when times weren’t all sunshine and butterflies they always did the right thing and showed us that anything in life is possible. Not only leading by example, but just the support they have shown in any path I have chosen has been a huge impact on my life. No way I would be in the position I am now without following the example and path they put in place early on.
