Mike , thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?
I truly feel that as an Entrepreneur, in the beginning holding your self accountable to being effective when you are the only one in the room (quite often literally) is one of the most challenging things to over come. I believe that with out a constant awareness of this it is something that can never be mastered and something that will cost you.

The number one thing I think with when I see this question is “Discipline”.

In this case when I say discipline I mean being disciplined in the sense that everything that you do has clear intention. The only way to be effective is through actions backed by purpose and intentionality.

I attempt to get clear on the big picture and then work my way down to the day to day tasks that ultimately put us in the best possible position to succeed at hitting the big target.

Writing down my goals, Mapping out my day, setting daily targets, and prioritizing actions help me achieve the discipline of intentionally.

I dont have it all figured out yet but brick by brick we are getting there one disciplined day at a time.

The three most important skills : SALES
BRANDING AND MARKETING
SALES

I would say that sales is the most important skill set to learn and with out that you have nothing. Also realize that branding is everything and that branding is single handedly the fastest way to gain mind share in todays social media world.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
Our ideal clients is a business doing 3 million + in revenue a year. Our clients are product based brands in Health and Wellness, Cosmetics, Apparel, and Outdoor Rec space. An ideal client would have multiple skews (more than one product to sell) and a relatively strong E- commerce presence.
