We recently connected with Nadia Espinosa and have shared our conversation below.
Nadia , thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
My optimism comes from my faith in that higher power that guides us all. I wouldn’t call myself a religious person but I am a spiritual and I’ve spent the last 37 years getting to know myself and my dharma (purpose) here. From a young age, my mother instilled faith in me and my abilities and that also really helped me navigate life with more confidence. She definitely always instilled this sense of knowing that everything would be ok and she was right. I became a young mother myself and instead of letting that limit me, my son became the inspiration and grounding I needed to excel. So my optimism comes from my upbringing, my faith, and my confidence in myself.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
My name is Nadia of Nadi Alchemy and as a true Aquarius rising I am not a huge fan of the labels. I’d say I am a modern witch but it’s so much more than that. I meditate, I love astrology for personal development, and anything occult/esoteric. I read tarot/oracle cards online as a tool to empower others and inspire their connection to themselves/their faith. I am also a mother to one teenage boy and senior paralegal by day, everything I do I give my heart to. It’s been a beautiful journey to explore the different aspects of who I am through these roles.
Nadi Alchemy is my online presence/spiritual business. It’s been built on my own personal spiritual awakening journey and my desire to help others navigate theirs. I have been providing reading, reiki, and mentoring services for over 5 years now and have built a community online of inclusivity, support, and love. It’s certainly something I am proud of and devote a lot of my energy to when I’m not working and being a mom of course.
I use Nadi Alchemy as a way to also stay creative and I curate posts with love and intention every day. I encourage those who are interested in spiritual topics to follow me on Instagram and Youtube. I offer paid readings but a lot of the content I create is free and offers people a window into their experience through the exploration of energy and faith. I’ve grown so much on the spiritual journey and I truly enjoy using my experience/growth to inspire others to do the same.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities/skills that were most impactful on my journey were:
1) perseverance – great accomplishments are often challenging and met with inner/outer resistances/blocks. I’ve learned to persevere beyond challenges by staying focused on my intentions and my “why.” That is, my motivation to show up and serve a collective with knowledge and hope/faith. My advice is to just keep going, give yourself breaks, and stay focused on why you’re doing what you’re set out to do.
2)knowledge of self – many times when you show up authentically in the world that triggers others to project their insecurities/personal agendas/identities onto you. I learned that getting to know myself and knowing myself authentically was the single most important thing in being able to show up authentically with others and resonate with others.
3)Commitment – it’s easy to start something and be inspired. but to stay inspired is a whole other thing. Most things/goals take time and without commitment you’ll lose focus with every turn/low moment. To stay committed, allow yourself high and low moments and hold yourself accountable for goals set, whilst also checking in with yourself and whether the long term goal is still something you want to do or feel guided to do.
Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
My ideal client is someone who wants to learn how to tap into themselves and their own personal power on a spiritual/psychological level through support/higher awareness. My ideal client would be interested in spirituality, enlightenment, astrology, and connecting authentically to others and their experience. Someone who is open-minded about their experience and how to shift the narratives that hold them back.
