Meet Natasha Ghosh

We recently connected with Natasha Ghosh and have shared our conversation below.

Natasha, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
When I was younger, people often saw my outgoing personality and take charge attitude as confidence but it masked deeper insecurities. Much of my bravado was a big cover-up for not enough self-love and a continual search for external validation because deep down, I just felt like a scared little girl, hoping people would like her and that she could be good enough and cool enough to know. Whatever my age, it didn’t matter, I was still the same little girl, craving external validation to feel good about myself.

Since then my life has changed, I have changed. How I engage in the world has changed dramatically. Through dedication to personal growth, self-reflection and practices like meditation, I’ve cultivated a sense of inner security and self-worth. I’ve learned to embrace who I am – a kind, professional, and capable woman. My experiences and wisdom are valuable assets that guide me through life.

Building confidence is a journey, available to everyone. It takes time and effort, but the reward is immense. My sincere hope is that all women can find the confidence and self-love to see themselves as the incredible beings they truly are.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m always doing many different things. I remember a conversation with my husband once and he said, maybe when you find the thing you are passionate about you’ll stick with it. And I said to him, what I’m passionate about is new experiences and challenges! This is why I love my job as a therapist – serving and supporting people has always been something that has been important to me and because everyone is so different, it’s a new experience every time. Supporting clients as they move through their own change is inspiring – that spark of insight and move towards more authentic living brings me immense joy. It is my privilege to walk alongside my clients, and I am filled with gratitude to be a trusted person in their lives. I am currently developing online courses to help people face their fears and overcome anxiety through nervous system regulation and thought changes. I also support female entrepreneurs overcome the unique challenges we face through business mentoring and subconscious mindset coaching.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey?

1. My love of Learning: The world is constantly changing, and so should we. I’m constantly seeking knowledge and trying new things. Expanding my knowledge has really helped me to navigate new situations and challenges.
2. Adaptability: Since I enjoy new experiences, I’ve developed the ability to adapt to different situations and people. This is crucial not only as a therapist but as a human living in this constantly changing world!
3. Curiosity: Never stop asking questions and exploring new possibilities. When we approach a person or a situation with curiosity instead of judgement, there is so much for us to open to.

What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Develop a growth mindset and stay curious and in wonderment to the world around you. Ask questions. Embrace change and get comfortable with being uncomfortable; it’s an opportunity to grow. And seek out mentors or support. You don’t have to do this alone!

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
Over the past year, entrepreneurship has become my biggest teacher; pushing my limits, forcing me to confront setbacks and lean into resilience and experience the full spectrum of emotions. While not everything has been smooth, this journey has been instrumental in self-discovery. I’ve developed a deeper understanding of my capabilities, reevaluated how I want to spend my time, and ultimately clarified my core values. It has been messy, but incredibly rewarding.
