Meet Nina Brothers

We recently connected with Nina Brothers and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Nina, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My strong work ethic comes from watching my parents work hard to achieve their goals every year, even when it meant taking risks. Their determination inspired me.

When I started my own business, I wanted to follow their example and work just as hard. More than just a business to me, it’s a mission. My goal is to help people share their stories and promote their businesses on social media. Because this mission is so important to me, it keeps me motivated to put in the effort. It’s not just about working hard – it’s about staying true to what I believe in and making a difference.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
In my journey as a business owner and social media specialist, three important skills have made a big difference: always learning, trusting the process, and trying new things.

Firstly, I make it a point to keep learning because the business and social media world is always changing. Staying updated helps me adapt and stay sharp.

Secondly, trusting the process is crucial. It means being patient and believing that success comes from taking one step at a time. This mindset keeps me positive and resilient in the face of challenges.

Lastly, stepping out of my comfort zone has been key. Trying new things and taking on challenges has not only expanded my skills but also opened up new opportunities. It’s through these steps that I’ve found creative solutions and contributed to the growth of my business.

For those looking to improve on these three skills, regularly explore industry insights, connect with professionals, and take small, actionable steps. Celebrate past achievements, build confidence, and cultivate a supportive network for guidance. When stepping out of your comfort zone, start with manageable challenges, view failures as learning opportunities, and set specific goals for growth in both professional and personal development.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
I’m someone who tends to overthink and feel overwhelmed, but I’ve learned some helpful strategies to help with the overwhelm/ When I feel overwhelmed, I acknowledge and identify the feeling, understanding why it’s happening. I allow myself to feel it and, if things get tough, I use techniques like breathing exercises or taking a walk. Journaling, prayer, talking to my husband for support, and breaking tasks into smaller steps also help me manage overwhelming moments more easily.
