Meet Nina Ce’Mone Wright

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nina Ce’Mone Wright. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Nina Ce’Mone , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

You know I really had to think about this question. Where do I get my resilience from? I’m not sure that there’s just one source for my resilience. Part of it comes from my harrowing yearning to make my dreams come true, part of it comes from me knowing that I’m not just doing it for me, that I have an assignment and a purpose to help other people and most of it is rooted in the fact that I know God called me. Because I know God called me to do the things that I’m doing here in the earth I find that in the moments where life really gets impenetrable or I begin to feel overwhelmed; I have the comfort of knowing that I’m not doing it alone. God is right there with me paving the way even in the moments that bring tears to my face and so that gives me the strength to keep pushing forward.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am an ARTIST first. I know that sounds crazy but I really am lol. Everything I do is art and life is truly my stage. I am the star and creator of THEE NINA SHOW a podcast and YouTube show. I own a non profit organization called Heartchange Inc. which facilitates my mentorship program for young girls and women called IT Girl. I own a Behavioral and Mental Health Facility called Serenity Community Services. I have a Luxury Travel Service called Silk and Satin Property Management that owns and operates properties across the country. Lastly, I have hosted a prayer call for the last 8 years every single Tuesday called Transformation Tuesdays.

THEE NINA SHOW as a brand is my baby!! It’s everything that I am. I always felt like people never really knew how to take me because I’m funny, I’m sexy, talented, I’m super real but I know scripture like the back of my hand and I really believe that with God all things are possible. So THEE NINA SHOW is a conglomerate of everything that is Nina Ce’Mone Wright. I wrote my book WAITING TO BE FOUND a few years ago and my plan for the future is to grow my brand on Youtube, perhaps write another book, take my show on the road with tours and to ultimately reach millions of people.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I started in the industry as an intern for The Merge Summit and from there I worked my way up to being a producer with Releve’ Entertainment and eventually I started producing and pitching my own projects. The most important lessons that I’ve learned from my journey are 1.)Be Progressive & Forward Thinking. It is not about what’s now it’s about what’s next that goes for both things and people. The people that have longevity in this business are the ones that can see what’s next 2.) Service “If you can be faithful over that which is another mans God will make you ruler of your own” service is soooo important. You have to be good to people when you work for them because it sews good seed in the ground for when you have your own business. No one gets to this level of success on their own. You need people, so be good to them and you’ll always be covered. 3.)DO THE WORK. Kim Kardashian said it best “it seems like nobody wants to work these days. “ You have to do the work. There are no shortcuts. You have to do the work for your career and for your  physical, emotional and spiritual  well being. In order to deal with the level of scrutiny and pressure that comes from success you have got to do your inner work because if not success will crush you.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?

So I call my parents by their first names lol and what Joseph Henry and Melanie gave me was the freedom to DREAM. They exposed me to things that I probably would have never dreamed of had  they not given me permission to dream and dream big. The exposure to dreaming  changed everything for me. They also taught me the importance of generational wealth and strategy to obtaining it. Listen don’t be fooled you always need multiple streams of income, my parents taught me that early.
