Meet Orel De La Mota

We recently connected with Orel De La Mota and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Orel, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
I get my optimism from

living my life like its my last days… If you had 24 hours to live what would you do with it? Only then can we appreciate the small things in live, slow down, forgive more, love more, smile more.

I also built optimism on purpose. High Production and promotions in life are all state oriented. Optimism and grace change your state and therefore maximizing human potential. I cant afford not to be optimistic

Lastly, I get optimism from seeing life through the lenses of “Win/Learn” NOT “Win/ Loose.” Only then can I consider ANY event good or bad as something that was MEANT to happen. If it’s “bad” I look for and thank God for the LESSON. WE ARE NEVER LOOSING< SIMPLY ALWAYS LEARNING. Change your lenses and you’ll see more color in the world

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Im an actor based out of Los Angeles, CA. Im extremely privilege to having arrived to this country without speaking english and now I am a working actor in Hollywood. WOW… I am so excited for all the new films and tv series coming out this year. Cant wait to tell you guys about them. Looking forward to becoming a HouseHold international Name.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Qualities: Leadership, Always be of service without expectations, Be impecable with your word Skills: Improvisation, Any sport at a proficient level, Learn a language, Saying “No”, Passive income Investments

How to improve on these: STRONG DESIRE TO BE YOUR BEST SELF “Growth Mindset”, and find a mentor for each area of your life

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
Honestly, Ive always been incredibly resourceful. Ive never believed that there was ever a lack of resources in the world, but rather a lack of resourcefulness. So im constantly reading, listening to personal growth podcasts and looking for the right mentor in the areas of interest. The learning curve without a mentor can be quite rough and it necessitates much more self-discipline and resilience. Which is hard to acquire in a new area of study.
