Meet ORYAH

We were lucky to catch up with ORYAH recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi ORYAH, great to have you with us today and excited to have you share your wisdom with our readers. Over the years, after speaking with countless do-ers, makers, builders, entrepreneurs, artists and more we’ve noticed that the ability to take risks is central to almost all stories of triumph and so we’re really interested in hearing about your journey with risk and how you developed your risk-taking ability.
Really just came from being forced into positions where you have to make that choice. I’m always calculated, so I’ll consider all variables before committing to any type of risk

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
For the past for years, I’ve continued to make unique & laidback Hip-Hop music. Music has always been my way of self expression, and I love when a listener is able to relate to my experiences.

I recently dropped my new documentary on the WAV.MAX Youtube channel titled, “The Importance Of Music”. Lately, I’ve been preparing a lot of new music for the year & am excited to utilize the new website more in 2024: www.oryah.info

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
A lot of my past knowledge & experiences can be traced back to my years of producing before rapping. For example, I think I have a great ear for beat selection because of those years making them myself in the past. That’s a skill every great rapper has.

I think people underestimate how important Math is in Music too. I always been good with math whether it was in school or with parlays lmao everything is numbers

Do you think it’s better to go all in on our strengths or to try to be more well-rounded by investing effort on improving areas you aren’t as strong in?
Wayyyy better to focus on your strengths. I probably would’ve said the opposite years ago, but I like to think of it in reference to sports. You can make it to the NBA with 2-3 solid skills. Most players just needa know how to shoot these days to get in the league. Whereas you might waste time trying to fix flaws that were never going to become great potentially
