We were lucky to catch up with Phillip Hodge recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Phillip , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
As an ex ward of the state growing up living in shelters group homes and aging out of the foster care system I had very little but always wanted more and better for myself. Growing up not having much makes me grind for everything. My goal has always been to change it for my future. I want to break the Financial generational curse. We grew up in poverty having nothing so this instills a drive which makes you want to have it all
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Hip hop artist and Community activists who dedicates himself to spreading the importance of drinking water and staying hydrated and most of all recycling. We are sustainably Source deep in the Appalachian Mountains where our source receives on average 65 in of rainfall. We are the only water company revealing our source and bottle and process. Our aluminum cans are reusable recyclable BPA free. Our invisible liner inside of the can prevents the water from touching the can which gives you a smooth tasting spring water. Outside of selling water I dedicate my time to give him back by reading kids books and encouraging kids to be literate. I look for a little free libraries to put my stickers on in effort to encourage the kids to read more books. We tell them to take a book and put one back to encourage others to follow the trend of reading. I also advocate for different causes like sexual abuse awareness through my cause I am not alone. I spread breast cancer awareness cervical cancer awareness domestic violence awareness autism awareness 22 other causes under Thuggizzle Cares Inc. I will be co-star in in a new film entitled heart cold where I play a character named Bobby Williams. Check out more information about this film under IMDb search Thuggizzle. The film is directed by movie producer and writer Michael L Jackson and will be available 2024.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Putting God first which will supply wisdom and give you the ability to be a great listener understand and an even better responder. When anyone can Master these skills you will be a true hero to someone.
