Priscila, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
Confidence comes with experience and knowledge. Having been in the business for almost six years, I have invested a lot in education and had hands-on experience with the best professionals in the market.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Located in Canton, Georgia, my name is Priscila Camara and I am the founder of Priscila Camara Photography, LLC. Since 2018, I have been serving clients in the greater Atlanta area. My studio specializes in newborn and maternity shoots, and I have acquired extensive knowledge in newborn photography through training sessions with the best photographers in the area. I have also received training in baby physiology to ensure the necessary safety during the sessions.
At my studio, I have a wide range of props and accessories specifically for newborn shoots. For maternity shoots, I even have dresses available for mothers-to-be. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, I strive to accommodate a diverse clientele.
As a member of the Professional Photographers of America and a qualified newborn photographer by the Newborn Photographers International Association, I aim to provide the utmost professionalism and attention to detail. Clients who visit the Priscila Camara Photography studio can expect to be received with care and affection. I am constantly praised for my dedication to ensuring the safety of both the baby and the client throughout the shoot.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I decided to focus on my strengths in newborn and maternity photography because I believe there is a great deal of expertise to be found in this specialization. I wanted to ensure that I could provide my clients with my full 100% effort.
Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
In my opinion, the three most important qualities to develop are positivity, attentiveness, and passion for what you do.
