Hi Quin , so happy to have you with us today and there is so much we want to ask you about. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others developed certain skills or qualities that we are struggling with can be helpful. Along those lines, we’d love to hear from you about how you developed your ability to take risk?
One thing you have to understand is that you take risks everyday. From the food you eat, to driving a vehicle, and even the people you associate with. Life is choice driven. If you’re going to take a risk, bet on yourself. Good or bad, you will walk away a better person, or have the lessons needed to accomplish your endeavors.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Asking what I do at times can be a hard question! Currently I am a licensed barber, I custom build furniture, as well as handcraft soy candles. It’s an exciting adventure for me because I get to exercise multiple gifts. Most of the things that I do now, started as a hobby. As I perfected my craft, I was able to help others, as well as turn it into a business.
Currently my focus is opening a content studio in downtown Beaumont, Texas. I am creating a space for photographers, videographers, events, pop up shops, and DIY classes. My city has many talented individuals. I want to create a platform for them to express their artistry on digital platforms.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities that helped me the most were patience, consistency, and hard work! Never lose hope, everything is a process. Consistency will get you into places that talent won’t. A dream is nothing without the foundation of hard work.
