Meet Quinisha Reid

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Quinisha Reid a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Quinisha, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?
Truthfully, I ensure no matter what I am going through I maintain my integrity. I was raised to treat others the way I would want to be treated and along my come up I had A LOT of help , assistance and guidance. But most of all, I always follow my heart. I often feel as if God places a lot of weight of others onto me because I am so strong and unbreakable. However, no matter how much he may put onto me he always blesses me with the strength and guidance to make it through all things. I am truly blessed in abundance and because of that I love to share with my loved ones.

I am a firm believer in unshared information is wasted information and I hate gate keeping. So for me, my integrity is to spread love in whatever form it may come in that moment that God places onto my heart to help or give at any time.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Offering services that our people are new to provide education to our clients on how they can look better and feel better about themselves from the inside out.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The best advice I can give anyone may be the most cliche but it is the most important. Always keep God first. This helps you stay focused on YOUR mission and YOUR journey but more importantly stay grounded in your integrity.

Also, never compromise your integrity for anyone. Always stay true to who you are. Being a business owner is not easy and when you have such ambitious ideas and dreams that only you and God can see people will try and discourage you in any and every way. Stay true to YOU! This is no one else’s journey but your own.

Lastly, whatever you decide to do, RIDE IT OUT UNTIL THE WHEELS FALL OFF! Don’t ever stop! Even if you have to slow down, make a few lefts and rights, never stop! Keep going! The absolute easiest thing you can do is give up!! It’ll never be easy, you honestly dont want it to be easy, nothing worth having is easy to obtain. KEEP GOING!

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
I read the book The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho at least once a year and every time I gain a new level of understanding. The most important nugget of wisdom I gained from this book is to trust your process and trust God. Don’t get discouraged because your journey is long or may waver from what you have in mind or what you believe you are destined to be. But trust that God will give you everything and more that he has promised you. But most importantly ENJOY THE JOURNEY….ride it out, everything is happening for a reason. Pay attention to the omens life brings you and trust in yourself. Never stop putting in the work for your ultimate goal. Even if you have to change the course of the journey never forget your ultimate plan.
