Meet Quite Unusual

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Quite Unusual a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Quite, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.
Glad you asked, actually not only do we not have imposter syndrome but we believe we have the opposite. We like to call it “Poster Syndrome.” One of our biggest fears is being body snatched, so we make sure neither of us are imposters at all time. You have to be careful of the underground Body Snatching Syndicate, something most people aren’t aware of. You have to take the extra steps to arm yourself against the Body Snatchers. Are you armed? You should be.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
What do we do? Well that’s simple. We create podcasts, but mostly we create mischief. The most exciting thing about what we do is the mold growing in our recording studio finally infecting us with its spores, lowering our inhibitions and using our bodies as vehicles for its own nefarious goals. We release podcast episodes every week, if our moldy overlords allow.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three most important skills are as follows; 1) Martial Arts. Pretty self explanatory. Enemies are everywhere.
2) Deep Sea Fishing, this is mostly just for fun but also to uncover the horrors that lie in wait in the open ocean.
3) Our innate ability to communicate with animals. We hear their voices in our heads and respond out loud.

haha, just kidding about the last one. THAT would be crazy.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
Honestly, if I can be honest, giving birth to us was probably the most impactful thing they could have done. Without that start, we would have probably been born as like a slug or a Keebler Elf or something. And I DONT think slugs know how to podcast. Keebler Elves on the other hand… well, I think we would all be interested to hear their podcast.
