We recently connected with Rachel Kylian and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Rachel with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I come from immigrant parents, who were hard worker, so I believe I got that from them. I also lived and worked in Germany for few years, and people are highly efficient there so I took that with me.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Rachel Kylian is a French Film and TV actor. Her latest film credits include notably, Universal’s comedy “Almost Christmas”, the action thriller “Interpreters” directed by Michael Ryan, the romance “The Moment” directed by Panjapong Kongkanoy & Laddawan Rattanadilokchai, the Lifetime movie “The Wrong Man” and Sony Pictures’ “The Climb” directed by Michael A. Covino. She will next be seen in the comedy “Sunlight” directed by Nina Conti and the thriller “Lipstick” directed by Kimberly Conner.
Kylian most recently co-starred in Magnum P.I. (Peacock) and “And Just Like That” (HBO Max). Other TV credits include “Promised Land” (Hulu), “Physical” (Apple TV+), “FBI” (CBS), “Counterpart” (Starz), and “MacGyver”(CBS).
She is also a producer and writer, and her latest film, “It’s Time”, a dark comedy was selected at eight festivals and nominated for Best Faith Based Film at The Burbank International Film Festival 2023. Directed by Tammy-Anne Fortuin, “It’s Time” is a compelling cinematic journey that explores the themes of faith, redemption, and the human spirit. This remarkable film has captivated audiences and critics alike, earning a well-deserved nomination in a category that celebrates exceptional storytelling and impactful narratives.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
I go on vacation. I love to travel so I can rest and recharge. If I don’t have the time to go on vacation, I go to the beach, to a park or to the spa. Self-care time is really important for me.
