Meet Randi Van Horn

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Randi Van Horn. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Randi below.

Randi, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Well, it’s been a journey, really. I’ve always had a knack for design and a passion for social media, so combining the two felt like a natural fit. But it wasn’t until I started working with real estate agents and teams that I truly found my purpose. Helping them create visually stunning content and craft engaging social media strategies to showcase their properties and connect with clients has been incredibly fulfilling. It’s like I’ve found the perfect intersection of my skills and passion, and I couldn’t be happier doing what I do.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Right now, I’m all about dialing up the visual game and turbocharging social media presence for real estate agents and teams. From crafting eye-catching designs that make properties pop to devising killer strategies that spark engagement and drive leads, I’m fully immersed in making sure my clients stand out in the crowded digital landscape. It’s all about staying ahead of the curve and delivering results that make both me and my clients proud.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, I’d say adaptability, creativity, and communication have been absolute game-changers for me. Being able to roll with the punches in an ever-evolving industry like real estate, thinking outside the box to create fresh and compelling designs, and effectively communicating ideas and strategies with clients and team members have been key.

For those just starting out, my advice would be:

Embrace adaptability: The digital world moves fast, so be ready to pivot and learn new skills as needed. Stay curious and open-minded about new trends and technologies.

Cultivate creativity: Don’t be afraid to experiment and push boundaries in your designs and social media campaigns. Keep honing your creative skills through practice, inspiration, and learning from others.

Hone your communication skills: Clear and effective communication is essential in this field. Practice explaining your ideas and strategies concisely and confidently, and don’t shy away from seeking feedback to improve.

Ultimately, it’s about finding your own unique voice and style while staying flexible and connected to your clients’ needs.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Absolutely! I’m always on the lookout for exciting collaborations and partnerships. Right now, I’m particularly interested in teaming up with real estate agents or agencies who are passionate about leveraging the power of design and social media to elevate their brand and engage with their audience in fresh, innovative ways.
