Rayshawon, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience come from my upbringing growing up in a low income neighborhood aka the hood straight out the New York City area being raised in Brooklyn and Queens.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I was , born and raised in the challenging environment of the inner city, faced adversity with resilience. Growing up in the hood, I witnessed the struggles of my community, but instead of succumbing to the circumstances, I found inspiration in the chaos. Determined to break the cycle, immersed myself in self education and sought mentorship from local entrepreneurs.
As I navigated the obstacles of his upbringing, he discovered a passion for business. The streets that once posed a threat became the backdrop for his entrepreneurial journey. With unwavering determination, he honed his skills, learning the ropes of the business world through sheer grit and tenacity.
Against all odds, Rayshawon emerged as a beacon of hope in his community. Recognizing the transformative power of entrepreneurship, he co-founded Kingdom Consultant Firm LLC with his wife, Danita Hardy. The excitement of being a business owner fueled his ambition to create positive change.
Now, as a part owner of a thriving coaching/consulting firm, I’m not just a success story; I’m a symbol of empowerment for those still navigating the challenges of the hood. My journey from the streets to a business owner is a testament to the transformative potential within every individual, regardless of their starting point.
We just partner with a friend of mines not to only where we can coach to give you clarity, empowerment, and transformation, but also we are going to ad a digital marketing team to market and have web development which we will be a one stop shop for your coaching and consulting needs. We also have self education courses and ebooks, and we can do business financing as well. We heading on the right track to expand as a start up company.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back thinking about the things I been through especially in my community is identity. So understanding my identity gave me purpose. The three qualities I think everyone should and this is essentially our C.E.T. Focus. Is Clarity with that you have understanding on your purpose,vision, and value. Then when have that It Empowers or give you empowerment where you realize I have a meaning in life. After that Transformation and you will be that new creation. And also remember To be focus and Discipline. Have faith in yourself the Bible say all things is possible to those who believe!
