Meet Rebecca Li

We recently connected with Rebecca Li and have shared our conversation below.

Rebecca, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
As a child, my confidence blossomed through my passion for theatre arts, fueled by my parents’ unwavering support. Teen years brought growing pains, temporarily dimming that confidence. Now, in my twenties, my platform rejuvenates my self-assurance, inspiring self-love and encouraging others to embrace all facets of themselves.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
As a first-generation Asian American, I find profound purpose in being adopted into a diverse family. I find beauty in bridging my two worlds to share my uniquely blended experiences of fashion, food, and entertainment. Reflecting on my journey, I take pride in the distance I’ve covered and the path that lies ahead. Stay tuned as I embark on an exciting chapter, delving into my health and wellness journey, I’m eager to share insights and discoveries with you!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Some of my top principles that has helped me on my journey would be;

1. Embrace failure as your First Attempt In Learning (FAIL) – each setback is a stepping stone to growth.

2. Grant yourself the freedom to say no and face rejection – in a world of billions, there are at least ten ‘yes’ responses waiting for you.

3. Propel your journey by putting yourself out there – invest time in networking and nurturing relationships, as a substantial part of my success has been built on these connections.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?
As a content creator navigating the ever-evolving online landscape, staying consistent and on top of new trends can be daunting. Personally, I prioritize daily social media breaks for a healthier work-life balance. I’ve also discovered solace in my new hobby, crocheting, allowing creativity to flow through my hands. Creating a quiet space, both physically and mentally, is another strategy I employ to quiet the noise. Remember, mental health and physical well-being go hand in hand, so be kind to yourself in this dynamic digital journey!
