Meet Highbros

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Remy AKA Highbros Norasingh. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Remy below.

Highbros , thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?
As a music producer and record label owner, navigating unique situations is key. Being the only one in the room has taught me the importance of confidence in my craft. My effectiveness stems from embracing diversity, valuing my perspective, and staying true to my creative vision. Optimism, for me, arises from the belief that every unique voice contributes to the richness of the music industry, making it a vibrant and inclusive space for all talents.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
As a music producer and owner of Highbros Entertainment, my journey in the industry has been a thrilling blend of creativity and entrepreneurship. What excites me the most is curating exceptional talent and producing music that resonates with diverse audiences. The unique sound and vision of our label set us apart, emphasizing authenticity and innovation.

Highbros Entertainment is more than just a label; it’s a platform that nurtures artists, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Our focus on pushing boundaries and exploring new genres keeps the energy fresh and dynamic. Currently, we’re gearing up for an exciting series of releases that showcase the incredible talent we have on board. Stay tuned for groundbreaking tracks and events that redefine the music landscape.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Reflecting on my journey, three crucial elements have significantly impacted my success in the music industry. Firstly, an unwavering passion for music has been my driving force. This intrinsic love fuels resilience during challenges and fuels creativity in the studio.

Secondly, adaptability is key. The industry evolves rapidly, so being open to new trends, technologies, and styles has allowed me to stay relevant and innovative. Embrace change and view it as an opportunity for growth.

Lastly, effective networking and relationship-building have been paramount. Collaborating with artists, industry professionals, and building a supportive community has opened doors and created valuable partnerships.

For those starting their journey, my advice is to stay passionately committed to your craft, be adaptable to change, and invest time in building meaningful connections. Success in the music industry often stems from a combination of talent, adaptability, and a strong network.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?
When the demands of the music industry become overwhelming, I turn to a combination of strategies to stay on track. First and foremost, music itself is my refuge – creating or simply immersing myself in different genres helps regain perspective.

In addition, integrating meditation into my routine has been a game-changer. It acts as a reset button, allowing me to center my thoughts and maintain a clear and positive mindset amidst the chaos. This practice not only enhances my focus but also equips me with the resilience needed to navigate the dynamic challenges of music production and label ownership. Remember, finding balance and incorporating moments of serenity can amplify your effectiveness in this vibrant yet demanding industry.
