We recently connected with Rev. Patricia Ferreira and have shared our conversation below.
Rev. Patricia, so good to have you with us today. We’ve got so much planned, so let’s jump right into it. We live in such a diverse world, and in many ways the world is getting better and more understanding but it’s far from perfect. There are so many times where folks find themselves in rooms or situations where they are the only ones that look like them – that might mean being the only woman of color in the room or the only person who grew up in a certain environment etc. Can you talk to us about how you’ve managed to thrive even in situations where you were the only one in the room?
Ever since I can remember, being the only one who looked like me and did not fit in were themes in my life, creating a lot of internal noise and overcompensating.
I call this my Shoulds & Shame ERA. I remember growing up feeling like I was not black enough in my neighborhood because I was Latina—and too black In my all-girls, predominately caucasian parochial school. I developed a keen ability to activate the mask needed for the occasion and code switching.
The more I moved up in my career and traveled, the more I realized that there were more similarities than differences between myself and others. I understood many would take issue with my appearance, but I would no longer let that mean less about it.
At that moment, I decided to take my power back and stop contorting myself to make others feel comfortable.
I learned to overcome self-analysis and indecision and began understanding the impact of emotional intelligence and my energy. I understood that my feeding inadequacy was creating that dynamic with others. As I revealed my genuine, transparent, and authentic self, others resonated, responded, and engaged in my purpose. As I developed my emotional intelligence, I built the soft skills, balance, and self-awareness to influence, enroll, and motivate others harmoniously and effectively.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Hands down, I get most excited about witnessing a woman tap into her divine power. If you know me, you’ve heard me say, “I am my very first client.” That is because my becoming the highest version of myself is the most powerful way to guide women through brake-downs and breakthroughs authentically.
I’ve walked the path of the overachiever, people-pleaser, and control freak who got very far based on society’s standards but always felt like something was missing. I’ve been the woman in charge who is expected to have all the answers, secretly confused or complicated, wishing for guidance. My lived experiences and gathered wisdom are my differentiators.
My work is about helping women take a balanced approach to their elevation. We have dedicated a lot of energy and time to the outer elements of our expansion, the more masculine part of our intelligence—things related to strategy, roadmaps, action plans, and performance indicators—and not enough to the inner elements, like confidence, self-trust, empathy, agility, and other emotional and feminine intelligence skills.
I most resonate with the term ” Intuitive Success Strategist” as a description of what I do. I have taken my knowledge and insight from my business development, sales, & marketing corporate journey and married it with my awakening and studies as a Shamanic Priestess and Reverend.
I guide women to open their mindsets, manage their energy, and build holistic strategies that create alignment, accelerate growth, and tap into a newfound level of success with satisfaction.
I pride myself in meeting a woman where she is and have several ways in which we can work together :

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey?
Open Mindedness & Self Awareness -Thinking I knew it all or believing my truth was the only truth can be most derailing. Judgment & projection is an unending hamster wheel. Expansion and higher consciousness come from becoming an observer of yourself and asking curious questions like:
What am I meant to learn from this?
How is this happening to me?
What other perspective on this situation is available to me?
Understanding that we are here to learn and grow from every experience and getting devoted to our role as students shifts how we treat ourselves and journey through life.
Emotional Intelligence and Energetic Hygiene—There was a time when I only permitted myself to experience two emotions: shame and anger. These emotions made me a great person to the outside world: cooperative, team player, and hard worker. And a prickly, frustrated, impatient, bitchy-witchy person on the inside. Building the capacity to be aware, command, and express one’s emotions sensibly and empathetically is a game-changing skill that supports personal and professional growth and your ability to lead. Developing emotional intelligence is part of the inner work that becomes the foundation for achieving your highest desires.
Agility and resourcefulness—I once heard someone say, “There is no plan that survives the marketplace.” this was when everything for me was about having a strategy, road map, and action plan. What I know to be true now is that we & the world are everchanging, and our ability to adapt, adjust, and overcome contributes to higher self-trust, courage, confidence, and reaching our desired destination. It is being malleable that supports grace, ease & flow. Unexpected things will happen, and knowing everything is figureoutable, as Marie Forleo says, is power.
How would you describe your ideal client?
My Ideal client is the purpose-driven executive or entrepreneurial woman ready to break free from the silent killers of her success with satisfaction. The woman who wants more in her life is actively seeking ways to harmoniously blend all her desires.
She is quietly aware of her inner struggles, be it a lack of confidence, self-trust, or her limiting relationship with time, money, or worthiness, and she is done playing small.
She is done with the expired beliefs around settling, suffering, and sacrificing her fulfillment for success and wants to create a sacred sweet spot where abundance, peace, joy, and satisfaction are her reality.
