Meet Robert Shearn III

We recently connected with Robert Shearn III and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Robert , we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
In High School I was voted class shyest so building my confidence has been a journey. First I believed in the impossible. Once I believed that, anything became possible. By being a Entreprenuer and depending on just yourself there is no choice but to build your confidence or you won’t be paying your bills. Its either sink or fly. So therefore your confidence has to kick in because you have to hustle to make things happen.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m a Nudist and started as a Nude Figure Model for Artists and Art Schools.  I also modeled in calendars, a coffee table book, runway fashion shows and websites.

I’m a Actor in movies, commercials and TV crime shows. Im a American Reality Television Award recipient for Best New Cast in the TV show “My Feet Are Killing Me” season 1 episode 4 as a Patient thats a Nudist with webb toes on TLC and Questred in the U.K. My scene is also featured on “Celebrity Watch Party” on Fox TV episode 5 with funny reactions from Tyra Banks, Ravin Symone, Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne, Master P, Romeo Miller, Lindsay Lohan, Curtis Stone & Reggie Bush. Check both shows out now on Amazon Prime.

I had a great experience shooting in Grammy Nominated Singer, Aloe Blacc’s music video “Brooklyn in the Summer”. Check it out on YouTube.

I had a fun experience as the first and only African American Mr. Mature America Pageant Contestant. While being a Contestant I had a great  experience waving to the crowd in the Doo Dah Parade sitting on top of the back of a red Mustang convertible. Being in a parade is something I always wanted to do. It was a honor to meet and work with the Host of the event Barbara Eden. Who is the star of the 70’s hit TV show “I Dream Of Jeannie”. A TV show that I loved watching as a little boy and still do today.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Me being a Entreprenuer helped with the business side of things. Having knowledge from my acting classes and my private Acting Coach was a great help. Lastly I would say my resilience. For folks that are early in their journey my advice to improve on these qualities is to
reasearch, read, take classes, network, listen and get advice from others that’s already doing things you want to do.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I’m always open to to collaborate with other Professional Film/TV Producers & Directors, Artists, Photographers, Fashion Designers in the Acting/Modeling Industry in NYC, NJ, PA, DC ATL, LA and will consider all other areas as well. I’m available to speak at Motivational events, Youth events and will help with castings for fashion shows. Whatever your creative ideas might be just run it by Me and we can take it from there. Reach Me at rshearn3@hotmail.com. I’m also available to do birthday greetings, anniversary greetings, graduation greetings or whatever greeting on Cameo at www.cameo.com/robertshearn111
