Meet Robnitia Weekley

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Robnitia Weekley. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Robnitia below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Robnitia with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I don’t rely on others to help me with dreams/goals that I have so I naturally have a “go get it” work ethic that I get primarily from my mother and by also observing others and following their lead in the workplace. I’m extremely proactive and will always consider “how are things done” by asking the right questions during onboarding and as things change within my role. My mother displayed great work ethic during my upbringing by showcasing all of the necessary traits that a working woman, mother and wife should have. I believe that those very traits were instrumental in helping me to become the young woman that I am today that is ready to work and learn everyday.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I literally eat, sleep, and breathe the entrepreneur life! It’s really a passion to connect with other women business owners! N & C Glam Collection is based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida known as the sunshine state. Growing up living in South Florida you see everyone wearing bathing suits more then anything so why not start a fashionable swim line? Our goal is to create more looks to compliment every women’s style and size.  We want women to feel classy, confident and sexy In our products. Being in business since 2020 and watching my company grow has been the most rewarding part of my entrepreneur journey.  What I look forward to most is building relationships with my customers and receiving feedback about the business and its products.

“We are here to bring LIMITED, LUXURY, & DELUXE EDITION collections for our N & C Glam babes at the most affordable rates!”

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I would say 3 qualities/skills you should have when starting a business is: Patience, Research and Consistent. You can dream big, but you must be patient, nothing will come over night. When looking at your future business venture, do your research! Get the best understanding about the industry you plan on being in. This is important and can’t stress this enough. Finally, consistence is needed because you must show up each and everyday for yourself and your business. There have been many times where I have had to cancel my plans and handle my business priorities because I have goals I want to achieve. If you are early in your journey, I will say that you need to show up daily. Consistency is the key to success.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?
If there is one thing I can say that I learned from my business is that in order to build you absolutely have to stay consistent, and never underestimate yourself. When you’re building something, specifically when it’s a creative venture, it is not always going to be an “easy” or “smooth” road. I will say that what I have learned from the growth process is to always make sure you’re improving by trial and error.
