Meet Rof Roc

We were lucky to catch up with Rof Roc recently and have shared our conversation below.

Rof, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
Having confidence in my self is a daily journey that I spend a lot of time working on because lack of self-confidence comes in different shapes and forms.

Over the past years I have deviced steps to help me boost and maintain my confidence and self-esteem.

I constantly make a list of all my achievements and compare them to when I first started the journey as a content creator, because it helps define my work and the process I had to go through to reach this level in my career.

Acknowledging my inborn talents and taking steps to make them realistic, more often adds energy to my self-esteem because it proves I’m actually working on my goals and will do everything to see it materialize.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Professionally, as a journalist and content creator my focus primarily is educating, entertaining and informing my followers and readers with my write ups and articles.

These days that social media has become a major tool for spreading news and information. I believe it is my duty to stay unique and give only fact based content that excites to all readers.

What I do is special to me because I influence a certain percentage of social media users with my postings and have won award for that.

Recently I was adjudged “Blogger Of The Year” for my creative writing and skills. This is proof that people around my community respond positively to my works as a Journalist and content creator.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Developing my writing skills I have always had the eye for spreading positive and facts based contents.

Firstly, I had to horn my writing skills by reading as many books and online articles as possible because it helped me familiarize myself with the portals and how they operate.

Also, acquiring knowledge about the field is a routine which is never missed for anything. Spending 1 hour every day to learn about new trends and jargons of the industry did more good to myself.

Another skill that has brought me this far is good time management skill. Properly managing your time is an essential aspect of of industry because you will have to know when to switch up and juggle everything up to get to your destination.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Currently, I’m looking for partners who wishe to get into the tourism industry.

Tourism is a mojor part of our Ghanaian culture and with many new sites being discovered daily, the industry according to research is expected to become a multi million dollars venture in the next 2 years.

From the beautiful waterfalls hidden within the pristine forests, slave castles, national parks and beaches. Ghana is the perfect destination for your vacation.
