Meet RudeBoyKels

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to RudeBoyKels. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

RudeBoyKels, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
I got my resilience from my Grandmother she came to the U.S. from Jamaica and sent for all her kids and grandkids to come to the states and built a foundation for us. So if she can achieve that whatever I pursue should be easy.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
So I’m a kid from a city called Norristown, Pa right outside of Philadelphia. Im an recording artist who moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dreams. I’ve received over millions of streams on all platforms. I’ve performed in front of thousands of people. And I write for a lot of artist.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I’ve been blessed with having a good musical ear coming up with a lot of melodies and hooks. I’m very ambitious and have the will to challenge myself.
I’m very comfortable in my own skin and always stay true to myself.
The advice I give is to stay genuine always be yourself and to trust your gut.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
I take a step back and reflect. I meditate and I’ve learned to do things when I’m in the right headspace
